Dosage and usage
You should take Jentadueto exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. The typical starting dose is one tablet once daily with a meal to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal side effects. Your doctor may adjust your dosage based on your individual response. The maximum recommended dose is 2.5 mg linagliptin/1000 mg metformin twice daily. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one. What Jentadueto contains
Each Jentadueto tablet contains 2.5 mg of linagliptin and either 500 mg, 850 mg, or 1000 mg of metformin hydrochloride. The tablet also contains microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, magnesium stearate, and other excipients to form a complete formulation.
Side effects
